Ashleigh’s Therapeutic Approach

Ashleigh understands that life can become quite difficult, and in times of difficulty it can often seem really challenging to cope. She understand that in these times of distress, life can feel pretty hopeless and it can seem quite difficult to reach out to others for help. Ashleigh brings this approach to therapy, along with a willingness to support clients when they are having difficulty supporting themselves. With a collaborative and strength-based approach to the therapeutic relationship, and believing that the client is the expert in their own life; Ashleigh merely brings the skills and expertise to support the client through the challenges that they are facing. Ashleigh draws on therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), while tailoring each approach to the client’s individual needs, strengths and abilities.
