Kathryn practices via Telehealth on Tuesdays from 11:30am – 7:40pm, and on Thursdays from 9am to 5pm.

Kathryn has been working as a psychologist for over 15 years.

During her career, Kathryn has worked with clients across the life span but she has worked predominantly with adolescents and young to middle aged adult clients.

When working with children and adolescents, Kathryn is open to working collaboratively with the important people in their lives, such as parents, teachers and school staff.

Kathryn has worked in several different sectors including Community Health and Psychiatric services, but has vast experience working in educational settings in both secondary and tertiary institutions.

Over the last 2 and a half years, Kathryn has been working in private practice.

Kathryn believes that one of the best kinds of self-care you can give to yourself is counselling.

She understands that taking this first step can be daunting and creates a safe space for her clients to begin the process of talking about their issues and stressors from a non-judgmental viewpoint.

Kathryn utilises a broad range of therapeutic modalities in her therapy depending on individual client needs.

These include Person Centred, Narrative Therapy, Solution Focussed Therapy, Emotion Focussed Therapy and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy.

Kathryn believes that the therapeutic relationship is paramount to effective therapy and takes the time to get to know her clients from a holistic/whole person perspective.

Kathryn’s clients would describe her as nurturing, supportive and playful, whilst also being challenging enough to assist them to understand their thinking and behaviours and move towards positive change(s).
