Hi, I’m Mujahid, and I believe that counselling is a partnership—a shared journey that fosters meaningful, positive changes in your life. My goal is not just to guide you
through challenges but to help you build the strength and resilience needed to face whatever comes next. By the end of our journey, when the world tries to push you, I
want to help you get to a place where you can look it dead in the eye and say, “No, YOU move.”
Life doesn’t follow a script, and at times it can feel like everything is stacked against you. That’s why I draw on the philosophy of “me against the world”—a mindset that
recognises how overwhelming challenges can be but also honours your inner strength and capacity to persevere. This doesn’t mean facing struggles alone;
instead, it’s about developing the resilience and clarity to stand strong, with me in your corner, guiding and supporting you through life’s battles.
I believe we are all experts in our own lives, and I value the unique perspectives and experiences that each person brings to therapy. Counselling is a two-way street
where we can learn from each other, working together to uncover your strengths, explore possibilities, and reauthor your narrative. You are not defined by your
struggles or your past; you are so much more than your story. Together, we’ll challenge limiting beliefs, find new perspectives, and rewrite your narrative as your
comeback story.
Therapy isn’t just about overcoming difficulties; it’s a space for self-discovery, building emotional strength, enhancing relationships, and achieving personal goals.
Together, we’ll ensure that you’re not just surviving but thriving—ready to meet life’s challenges head-on, against the world, but never alone.
Research shows that the strength of the therapeutic relationship is one of the most important predictors of recovery. That’s why I’m committed to creating a safe,
person-centred space where you feel understood, valued, and supported. Therapy isn’t only for when life feels overwhelming; it can also help you stay grounded,
resilient, and prepared to navigate life’s highs and lows.
My adaptable and outcome-focused approach ensures that progress is made in a way that feels authentic and sustainable. Together, we’ll explore who you are,
identify what’s holding you back, and develop strategies to break through barriers and find clarity. My clients often tell me they appreciate my ability to balance warmth,
compassion, and a touch of humour with the gentle challenge needed to create lasting change.
