Anne-Marie Newham is accepting new clients.

Hello, my name is Anne-Marie, I have been supporting people as they experience challenges for over thirty years. My aim in providing counselling is understanding what your goals are, and what support you need to achieve them.

I have worked with victims of serious indictable crimes and including people experiencing acute trauma. As a result, I work within a trauma-informed framework to understand how your life experiences have affected you and we look at strategies, together, that will help you progress to greater feelings of comfort and peace.

A large focus of my work is working with young people and the challenges that they are facing. I like to work with the young person, respect their confidentiality and privacy and with the young person’s permission, also aim to work with family or carers, so that they can understand how to best support their young person for the optimal outcomes.

At all times, I will be guided by you in what you need to address, and I feel the best counselling relationship is one that you can reconnect with, as you need, over your life span.

I offer Telehealth Appointments only Fridays.
