Fees and Services Policies Including Cancellations

Independent Consultants

We note that other than the directors of the clinic, all practitioners are independent consultants running their own business. We provide a service to these therapists of Rooms, Infrastructure, Administration and Marketing.

Attuned Psychology Cancellation/Rescheduling Fees

A MINIMUM of 72 hours notice, being 3 FULL BUSINESS DAYS (excluding Weekends & Public Holidays), is required when cancelling and/or rescheduling appointments – to avoid incurring a fee

Cancellation fees will be charged as follows:-

  • 48-72 hours business days notice – 25% of your consultation fee
  • 24-48 hours business days notice – 50% of your consultation fee
  • < 24 hours business days notice or Failure to attend your appointment – 100% of your consultation fee
  • NDIS – 2 clear business days are required – which means that the day you cancel on is not counted as a full business day
  • Note that public holidays and weekends do not count as business days

Cancellation or reschedule: Call as soon as possible to change your appointment (No messaging please). Rescheduling is the same as a cancellation and requires the same notice.

Practitioners do not have direct access to phone messages. If you are unable to reach our administration directly, please use the SMS service (the one that provides reminders) to alert your practitioner of lateness, a requested change to a telehealth appointment, or a cancellation due to illness.

Fees Due: All payments are due at the time of service.

Off-Site Visits: Preparation time and travel costs are additional and charged km traveled and time spent at an hourly rate.

Reports: All reports are billed at the practitioners scheduled rate plus GST (where applicable) per hour, except for Medicare Benefits Scheme referral letters. Reports are not a free service and require a therapeutic process to ensure accuracy and responsibility. Reports are usually presented in a therapy session not just sent.

Fees: Fees may be adjusted based on agreements with external bodies such as legal firms, NDIS, RTW, etc.

Legal Matters:  Please note we do not normally deal with legal matters without negotiation. When exceptions occur, these are only handled through meetings with the client before and after report writing. Reports can have significant implications for both the client and the therapist.

Change of Service Type:

A request for a different service to the initial request, for example, changing from NDIS to medicare or legal or court matter, will need to be requested as a separate service and contract. A session will need to be made with the practitioner to develop a new contract and agreement. Fees often change when there is a change in service type, please discuss with your practitioner or administration.

Adelaide Night and Day Family Therapy Cancellations/Rescheduling: 

A minimum of no less than two (2) clear business days’ notice of cancellation/rescheduling is required for any changes to appointments. Failure to provide this notice will result in a 100% booking fee.
